Dr. Bodo Specht

Bodo Specht holds a diploma degree in theoretical physics. After having done research in the field of computational thermos-fluid-dynamics at the Technical University of Braunschweig in collaboration with Siemens and Electricité de France he receives a PhD (Dr.-Ing.) from Technical University of Braunschweig.

He joined Volkswagen AG 1998 as R&D engineer. He worked in different product development areas in Wolfsburg, in Shanghai (SAIC Volkswagen) as director development passenger safety for Volkswagen and Skoda Cars, as CEO of an ADAS software company based in Bavaria, in the product development of Audi in Ingolstadt, and in different positions at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg.

Since 2023 he is the responsible director of vehicle electrical system development at Volkswagen in Wolfsburg.
