Ole Mende holds a diploma degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering from the University Hannover. After having done research in the field of semiconductor technologies in one of the first research programs for multicore processors at the laboratory of information technology of the University Hannover.

In 2002 he joined AUDI AG as R+D engineer for Infotainment devices. He worked in different departments. At quality department, responsible for semiconductor analyses and lightning system. At technical development in charge for EMC and harness components.

Since 2020 he is the responsible director of electrical distribution systems located in Ingolstadt.
