As Member of the Board of Kromberg & Schubert with the focus on all engineering activities, Dr. Wolfgang Langhoff takes care about the future development of the EDS (Electric Distribution Systems) of actual and future vehicles and the adaption of the manufacturing processes to provide competitive solutions.

This includes the design and topology of next generation distribution systems as well as the requirements for an efficient production of these systems. Management of complexity, (semi-)automated production and reliability are the major tasks for the oncoming challenges for electromobility and autonomous driving.

Dr. Langhoff started his career in 09/1999 as Research Associate, Team Wiring Technology at Fraunhofer Institut für Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung. Between 06/2004 and 11/2011 he worked as Hybrid Engineering Manager, Team Leader Hybrid and Project Manager High Performance Connectors and finally as Automotive Engineering Manager at Amphenol Tuchel Electronics GmbH. In 12/2011 Dr. Langhoff switched his job and became Director R&D Europe at Leoni Bordnetze-Systeme GmbH where he also held the position as Vice President R&D.

From 11/2014 until today Dr. Langhoff serves as Board member / Chief Development Officer at Kromberg & Schubert Automotive GmbH & Co. KG.
